In many of our outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, skiing, or birding, the one thing that we don’t have enough of is hands. The backpack works as water storage, as well as a means of making it easily accessible to her so that she doesn’t have to slow down to get a drink. Hydration is so important for girls who area staying active, and this is a really thoughtful gift.
These come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors, and each one has varying amounts of storage. I personally like to take mine hiking, so I enjoy having a little additional storage in mine for my phone, clothes, and snacks. (Snack storage is great for you too, because you don’t want to be in the woods with a hangry girl.) If she is using it mostly for something like cycling though, you may consider one that she can wear that is smaller, specifically dedicated to water storage, and has less storage for other items. These are really cool though, and mine has lasted me several years.

Let’s face it, some girls are just so geared up and already have everything they need for their outdoor adventures. One thing that all outdoorsy girls have in common is that they love taking in the moments, experiencing life, and making memories. Gifting an experience shows that you put alot of thought into her gift, and that you took the time to find something as unique as her.
Whether you gift her with an opportunity to go swimming with manatees, a chance to take a guided hike through North America’s largest national forest, or send her snorkeling between tectonic plates in Iceland, know that a cool bucket list experience will always be welcomed by her.
